Our flagship title, Pixel Gun 3D, attracts over 3 million monthly players and continues to evolve. We combine strong artistic vision with solid technical expertise to build engaging, long-lasting игровое experiences.

We are currently working on a new project — Pixel Gun 2, a cross-platform PvP arena shooter that expands the universe and introduces new gameplay depth and visual quality.

We are now looking for a highly skilled Senior Concept Artist to help define and shape the visual direction of the project.

Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality concept art for stylized characters, environments, weapons, and props for a first- or third-person shooter
  • Develop and refine the visual style of in-game assets, including shape language, silhouettes, and color schemes
  • Design concepts for gameplay elements such as environments, weapons, equipment, abilities, effects, and character/enemy visual identities
  • Produce quick sketches, iterations, and polished final renders ready for production handoff
  • Work with mood boards, gather references, and analyze competitor visual solutions
  • Prepare concepts for 3D production (turnarounds, material breakdowns, form definition)
  • Collaborate closely with the Art Director, 3D artists, animators, VFX, and UI teams to ensure a consistent visual experience
  • Participate in creative discussions, pitch visual ideas, and support features throughout pre-production and production

Requirements:

Experience & Tools:

  • 5–7+ years of experience as a Concept Artist in the game industry
  • Experience working on midcore shooters or projects with diverse visual styles is a strong advantage
  • Advanced proficiency in Photoshop or similar digital tools
  • Working knowledge of 3D tools to support concept creation
  • Solid understanding of the full game art pipeline (from concept to final asset)

Art Skills:

  • Strong sense of form, silhouette, and proportions, with a focus on gameplay readability
  • Knowledge of stylized anatomy, materials, and visual aesthetics (low-poly, semi-realistic styles)
  • Strong color composition skills and understanding of visual hierarchy
  • Ability to balance artistic vision with functional design requirements
  • Experience in worldbuilding, including design of biomes, factions, and character classes

Technical Understanding:

  • Ability to adapt concepts to technical constraints of mobile and PC platforms
  • Experience preparing production-ready documentation (annotations, materials, turnarounds, style guides)
  • Understanding of efficient pre-production workflows and how to create clear, actionable concepts

What we expect:

  • A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of stylized concepts (characters, environments, weapons, creatures)
  • At least one case study demonstrating your process or technical approach is a plus
  • Ability to work iteratively, incorporate feedback, and refine work
  • Strong teamwork and proactive communication skills
  • Creative mindset with the ability to deliver unique visual solutions within given constraints
