What you’ll be doing
Configure and integrate new gameplay mechanics and core systems in Unity and spreadsheets (balance, parameters, configs).
Design and document new features and mechanics — create GDDs and ensure quality implementation.
Build and fine-tune FTUE and early game sessions to deliver an engaging and intuitive onboarding experience.
Set up and optimize gameplay loops (core, daily, weekly, and LiveOps).
Maintain detailed documentation and balance sheets (GDDs, configs, analytical reports).
Manage and support gameplay configs in the production pipeline, collaborating closely with programmers and QA.
Analyze key metrics (retention, conversion, session length) to identify problem areas and growth opportunities.
Evaluate new content performance through player engagement and conversion data.
Review player feedback and community insights, forming hypotheses for game improvements.
Participate in brainstorms and idea generation for feature and content updates.
Collaborate with producers, designers, and analysts during planning and development.
5+ years of experience as a Game Designer on mobile titles.
3+ years of hands-on experience with Unity — confident working with game data, prefabs, and configs.
Strong skills in Excel / Google Sheets / Notion / Confluence for balancing and documentation.
Understanding of FTUE and UX patterns for new player retention.
Knowledge of F2P monetization principles and how design choices impact ARPU and retention.
Experience working with analytics and using data to inform design decisions.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and creative teams.
Flexible work format — remote or from our offices in Yerevan or Cyprus.
