Cubic Games is a mobile game development studio and a proud member of the GDEV holding. From a small team, we’ve grown into a dynamic company of over 120 talented professionals.
Our mission is to create unique pixel games that stand out in the market.
We are currently looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Release Manager to coordinate and launch releases on key gaming platforms: App Store, Google Play, Steam, Huawei, and Amazon.
Responsibilities:
Work with the existing release checklist: track build readiness, metadata, banners, configs, translations, and push notifications.
Create release Epics in Jira, launch template tasks, and coordinate assignees.
Upload builds, screenshots, texts, and configurations to App Store, Google Play Console, Steam Partner Portal, Huawei, and Amazon Appstore.
Check compliance with platform requirements: age ratings, IARC, billing, privacy, storefront content.
Maintain changelogs and release documentation in Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Notion.
Publish release notifications and templates in Slack, track responses and statuses.
Launch A/B storefront tests and coordinate with the marketing team on results.
Track cross-team tasks: copywriters, game designers, content, QA, analytics.
After release, document lessons learned, deviations, rollbacks, and retro notes.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in releasing mobile and/or PC games.
Hands-on experience with Google Play Console, App Store Connect, and Steamworks.
Confident user of Jira, Slack, Google Sheets, and Google Docs.
Ability to maintain process order, document statuses, and track deadlines.
Willingness to work without CI/CD: the release process involves manual preparation and uploads.
Ability to identify bottlenecks in the current process and suggest improvements.
Mature communication approach: you build processes through the team, not instead of it.
Nice to have:
Experience with Huawei AppGallery or Amazon Appstore.
Understanding of A/B storefront testing and ASO principles.
Knowledge of data safety, ATT, privacy, and age rating requirements.
Participation in LiveOps or regular update releases.
We offer:
A clear and well-structured release process without chaos or last-minute night builds (in most cases).
Opportunity to gradually improve processes without building them from scratch.
A broad range of platforms, projects, and cross-team collaboration.
Transparent team culture, mutual support, and respect for processes.
Access to industry events, guides, retrospectives, and training.
Flexible work format and clearly defined responsibilities.
Conditions:
Employment under Armenian Labor Code or remote contract (candidates from Russia or Belarus are not considered).
Competitive “white” salary, 21 vacation days + 3 additional paid days off.
100% paid sick leave.
Private medical insurance from day one (for those employed in Armenia).
Workshops, internal lectures, gifts, and company events.
Important:
Fluent Russian is required for this role.
