Head of Operations/Head of PMO

Cubic Games is a part of GDEV gaming and entertainment powerhouse: Nexters, Royal Ark and Game Gears. We started as a small team in 2012 and have since evolved into a thriving game development studio. Currently, we have a team of more than 130 specialists working remotely or in our offices in Armenia and Cyprus. Our mission is crystal clear: we specialize in creating distinctive pixel games. Among our accomplishments, we're the creators of the widely acclaimed shooter, Pixel Gun 3D, which draws in over 5 million players worldwide every month.

We are seeking an experienced Head of PMO/Head of Operations for a key role within our company. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of business processes and administrative management systems, as well as a genuine passion for transforming chaos into order. This role involves managing a team of four individuals who are deeply committed to developing management systems. This position offers the opportunity to introduce new ideas and influence the growth of our company, which is beloved not only by us but also by millions of our players.

Responsibilities:

1. Operational Issues:

• Develop, automate, support, and optimize new and existing business processes; create regulations and instructions.
• Resolve issues related to the current systems and services necessary for company operations.
• Conduct audits of all company departments to assess efficiency and compliance with processes, and provide methodological support for performance reviews.

2. Relations with External Contractors:

• Business Development: Maintain interactions with existing contractors and identify new partners.
• Negotiate contract terms with partners.
• Oversee the fulfillment of contractual obligations.
• Optimize Game Operation Costs.

3. Additional Responsibilities:

• Lead the Operations department, consisting of three Project Managers and one Business Analyst.
• Implement requirements and processes from government regulators and IT Compliance. Serve as the responsible party for personal data of both employees and users.

We expect:

• At least 1 year of experience as a Head of Operations/COO
• A minimum of 4 years' experience as a Project Manager/Program Manager in IT, E-commerce, Game Development, or Digital sectors.
• A proven track record of achievements in a company or on projects.
• Extensive knowledge of administrative management and project management theory.
• High level of communication skills and empathy.
• Systemic thinking and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Proficiency in English, at least at the B1 level.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Possession of international certifications in project management and/or administrative management.
• A higher education degree in general management.
